This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms applicable to cancellations, refunds, and service termination for services provided by SEO Infuser.
By purchasing or engaging SEO Infuser for any service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to digital marketing and related services provided by SEO Infuser, including, where applicable:
- SEO Services
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profile Management
- Google Maps SEO
- SEO Content Writing
- Website SEO
- Website Design & Development
- Social Media Marketing
- Google Ads Management
- Online Reputation Management
- Other digital marketing services
The specific cancellation and payment terms agreed in a proposal, quotation, invoice, or service agreement may take precedence over this general policy where expressly stated.
2. Service Commencement
Work may begin after SEO Infuser receives the required payment, advance payment, confirmation, or other agreed authorization.
Once work has commenced, certain services may involve time, resources, research, content creation, account setup, strategy development, technical work, or third-party expenses.
For this reason, payments may not always be refundable after work has started.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client requests cancellation before SEO Infuser has started work, the refund eligibility will depend on the payment terms agreed for the particular service.
Any non-refundable administrative, processing, third-party, or other previously agreed charges may be deducted where applicable.
Where no specific terms have been agreed, SEO Infuser will review the request based on the circumstances and work status.
4. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once work has started, cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a full refund.
If SEO Infuser has already performed work or incurred costs, the amount refundable, if any, may depend on:
- Work already completed
- Time spent on the project
- Content already created
- Research already completed
- Technical work performed
- Third-party costs
- Advertising or platform expenses
- Other agreed project expenses
Any refund will be assessed based on the applicable service agreement and the work actually performed.
5. Monthly SEO and Digital Marketing Services
For recurring monthly services, clients may request cancellation by providing notice according to the applicable service agreement.
If no separate notice period has been agreed, cancellation requests should generally be submitted before the next billing cycle.
Once a new billing cycle has started and work has commenced for that period, the applicable monthly fee may not be refundable.
Cancellation of a recurring service does not automatically cancel outstanding invoices or amounts already due.
6. Website Design and Development
Website development projects may require substantial work before a website is completed.
Payments relating to completed development work, design work, content creation, configuration, domain registration, hosting, plugins, themes, licenses, or other third-party services may be non-refundable where the relevant work or purchase has already been completed.
If a project is cancelled after development has started, SEO Infuser may calculate any eligible refund based on the work completed and expenses incurred.
7. SEO Content and Other Digital Deliverables
For services involving content, audits, reports, research, strategy documents, landing pages, graphics, or other digital deliverables, refunds may be limited once the requested work has been created or substantially completed.
Digital deliverables that have already been supplied, published, downloaded, or approved may generally not qualify for a refund unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
8. Google Ads and Advertising Budgets
Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta, or another advertising platform is generally separate from SEO Infuser’s service fees.
Advertising budgets that have already been spent, committed, or charged by a third-party advertising platform may not be refundable by SEO Infuser.
Any refund relating to unused advertising funds will depend on the relevant advertising platform’s policies and the specific payment arrangement.
SEO Infuser service fees and third-party advertising expenses should therefore be treated separately.
9. Third-Party Costs
Some services may involve third-party expenses, such as:
- Domain registration
- Web hosting
- Premium plugins
- Themes
- Software subscriptions
- Advertising platforms
- Stock assets
- External tools
- Other third-party services
Payments already made to third-party providers may not be refundable by SEO Infuser.
Where applicable, any refund will be subject to the relevant third party’s own refund policy.
10. Client Delays or Failure to Provide Information
SEO Infuser may require information, access, approvals, content, credentials, or other materials from the client.
If a client fails to provide the required information or access within a reasonable period, the project may be delayed or placed on hold.
Such delays do not automatically create a right to a refund for work already completed or resources already allocated.
11. Failure to Approve or Respond
Where client approval is required, unreasonable delays in responding to requests for approval may affect project timelines.
SEO Infuser will not generally be responsible for delays caused by the client’s failure to provide timely responses, information, approvals, or access.
12. Refund Request Process
To request a cancellation or refund, please contact SEO Infuser using the contact details provided below.
The request should include:
- Client name
- Business name
- Service purchased
- Invoice or payment reference, where available
- Reason for the cancellation or refund request
- Relevant supporting information
SEO Infuser will review the request and communicate the applicable decision or next steps.
13. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for the refund to appear in the client’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
Third-party processing delays may therefore be outside SEO Infuser’s control.
14. Non-Refundable Services and Expenses
Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, the following may be non-refundable after they have been incurred or completed:
- Work already performed
- Completed SEO research
- Completed audits or reports
- Published or approved content
- Completed website development work
- Completed design work
- Domain registration fees
- Hosting fees
- Software or subscription costs
- Advertising expenditure
- Third-party service charges
- Other previously approved expenses
15. Service Suspension
SEO Infuser may suspend services where:
- An invoice remains unpaid.
- Required information or access has not been provided.
- The client materially breaches the applicable agreement.
- Continuing the service creates legal, security, or operational concerns.
Suspension does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations.
16. Termination by SEO Infuser
SEO Infuser may terminate a service relationship where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving:
- Non-payment
- Fraudulent activity
- Abuse or harassment
- Unlawful requests
- Repeated violation of agreed terms
- Misuse of our services
- Security concerns
- Other material breaches of the applicable agreement
Where appropriate, SEO Infuser may provide notice before termination.
Any refund following termination will be handled according to the applicable agreement, work completed, expenses incurred, and applicable law.
17. No Refund Based Solely on SEO Ranking or Marketing Results
SEO and digital marketing outcomes depend on factors outside SEO Infuser’s complete control.
A client will not automatically qualify for a refund solely because:
- A particular keyword did not reach a desired position.
- Google Maps rankings changed.
- Website traffic did not reach an expected level.
- A particular number of leads was not generated.
- Advertising performance differed from expectations.
- Competitors changed their strategies.
- Search engine algorithms changed.
SEO Infuser does not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or revenue unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement.
18. Disputes Regarding Payments
If you believe a payment has been incorrectly charged or you have a concern regarding a service invoice, please contact SEO Infuser as soon as reasonably possible so that the matter can be reviewed.
We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that the issue can be investigated and resolved where possible.
19. Changes to This Policy
SEO Infuser may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will generally apply to future purchases or service arrangements unless otherwise required by applicable law or an existing written agreement.
20. Applicable Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
